Terms of Service
Last updated: June 17, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StratoPlay application (the "App") and the website at stratoplayer.online (the "Site"), operated by StratoPlay ("we", "us"). By downloading, activating or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What StratoPlay is
StratoPlay is a multimedia player built on the open-source mpv engine. It lets you connect your own playlists and watch live TV, movies and series. StratoPlay does not include, host, sell, recommend or provide any channels, playlists, streams or other content. To use the App you must supply your own M3U / M3U8 playlist or a subscription to an Xtream Codes provider.
2. Your sources and content
You are solely responsible for the playlists, credentials, streams and content you add to the App and for ensuring you have the right to access them. You must comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of your own content provider. We do not control, monitor, endorse or take responsibility for any third-party content or provider you connect to through the App.
3. Licenses and plans
The App is free to download, and you can browse the interface and add your playlists without paying. Playback (live preview, movies and episodes) requires an active license. We currently offer:
- Annual — US$12.99 per year: a yearly subscription valid on up to 3 devices. The license stops working if the subscription is not renewed.
- Lifetime — US$29.99 one-time payment: a perpetual license valid on up to 5 devices, with no renewals or recurring charges.
Each license is for your personal use. You may activate it up to the device limit for your plan, and you can free a device slot at any time from Settings → License in order to activate another device.
4. Payments, renewals and refunds
Payments are processed by Creem.io, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase and handles billing, applicable taxes and delivery of your license key by email. Your purchase is also subject to Creem.io's own terms and policies.
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change over time; the price you see at checkout is the price that applies to that purchase. The Annual plan renews automatically each year until you cancel it; you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the paid period.
Because the App can be downloaded and fully evaluated for free before you buy (only playback is gated), license purchases are generally final. If something is not working, please contact us first — we want it to work for you. Refunds may be granted at our or the Merchant of Record's discretion, or where required by applicable law. Issuing a chargeback instead of contacting support may result in your license being revoked.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to access content you are not authorized to access.
- Resell, sublicense, share or redistribute your license key beyond the allowed device limit.
- Circumvent, disable or tamper with the license activation or any security mechanism of the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
The StratoPlay App, Site, name and logo are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership; you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App in accordance with these Terms. The App uses the open-source mpv engine and other third-party components, which remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licenses.
7. Third-party services
The App relies on third parties you choose (your content provider) and on our payment provider. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality or performance of any third-party service or content, and your use of them is governed by their respective terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular provider, stream, network or device.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or content, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App or Site. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it. We may suspend or revoke a license if these Terms are breached — for example, in cases of fraud, abuse, license sharing beyond the allowed limit, or a payment chargeback. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes
We may update the App, its features and these Terms over time. When we change these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights.
