Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StratoPlay ("StratoPlay", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the StratoPlay application (the "App") and the website at stratoplayer.online (the "Site"). StratoPlay is a multimedia player only: it does not include, sell or provide any channels, playlists or content.

The short version

• Your playlists, credentials, favorites and history are stored only on your device. They never pass through our servers.
• We do not show ads, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
• To activate a license we use a random identifier generated on your device — never your hardware, MAC address or phone number.
• Purchases are handled by our payment provider, Creem.io, which acts as Merchant of Record.

Data stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device, in the App's own storage, and never transmits it to us:

• M3U / M3U8 playlist URLs and Xtream Codes credentials (server, username and password) that you add.
• Your favorites, watch history and "continue watching" positions.
• App settings such as language, time format, stream format and parental-control PIN.

Because this data lives only on your device, you can remove it at any time by deleting the relevant items inside the App or by uninstalling the App.

License activation

The App is free to download and browse; playback is unlocked with a license. When you activate a license, the following is sent to our payment and licensing provider (Creem.io) to verify the purchase and enforce the per-license device limit:

• Your license key.
• A random device identifier (UUID) generated on first launch and stored locally. This is not derived from your hardware, MAC address or any personal identifier.
• A human-readable device name (for example, the platform plus a short suffix) so you can recognize and manage your activated devices.

You can free up a device slot at any time from Settings → License, which deactivates that device with the provider.

Payments and billing

Payments are processed by Creem.io, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. When you buy a license, Creem.io collects and processes the billing information needed to complete the transaction — typically your name, email address, payment details and the country needed to calculate applicable taxes.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We use the email address associated with your purchase to deliver your license key and to provide support. Creem.io processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy; please review Creem.io's Privacy Policy for details on how it handles your information.

The website

The Site is a static informational page. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on it, and it does not set tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting server may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to operate the service. If you start a checkout, you are handed off to Creem.io, which may set cookies on its own domain as described in its privacy policy.

Third-party providers and content

StratoPlay plays the playlists and streams that you provide. The IPTV, M3U or Xtream Codes provider you connect to is an independent third party with its own terms and privacy practices. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the data practices or content of those providers.

Children

The App and Site are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App includes optional parental controls to restrict categories with a PIN.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. Most of the data the App handles never leaves your device, so you control it directly. For data related to your purchase (handled by Creem.io), you can exercise your rights through Creem.io or by contacting us at jeronm@stratoplayer.online and we will help route your request.

Data retention

On-device data is retained until you delete it or uninstall the App. License and purchase records are retained by our payment provider for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

International transfers

Our payment provider operates globally, so your purchase information may be processed in countries other than your own. Those transfers are governed by the provider's safeguards and privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
